Ohio State University Swiss Class
This contest is judged on the flavor, hole formation, color, and other physical characteristics. Steiner Dairy placed second at the Ohio State University Swiss Class contest with the mild swiss in 2012.

Ohio State University Open Class
This contest is open for a cheese maker to place any type of cheese that he or she would like into for judging. Steiner Dairy entered in their baby swiss and placed second while competing against those in the top of the cheese industry.

Swiss Festival
Steiner Dairy received the honor of placing first at the Swiss Festival 2012 contest. The mild swiss swept away the competition by correct hole formation, quality flavor, and consistency.

Reserve Grand Champion
Ohio holds three state competitions each year. Based on the awards that one receives each contest a Reserve Grand Champion and a Grand Champion is awarded. Based on the outstanding accomplishments that Steiner Dairy received during the year, they were awarded Reserve Grand Champion.
